Cristiano Ronaldo will continue his Web3 experiment and partner with Binance to launch a new series of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to commemorate his journey from rags to riches to football stardom.
The series, called "Forever Worldwide: Road to Saudi Arabia", will launch a series of NFT collectibles representing Ronaldo's journey from teenage prodigy in Madeira to playing a key role in Manchester United and Real Madrid. #NFT #C罗 #3friends
The "Forever Worldwide" Ronaldo series will be launched in two phases before the 2024/2025 football season - the first series will be launched on May 29, including NFT artworks from Madeira, Lisbon and Manchester.
The second NFT will be released on June 6, including artworks representing Madrid, Turin and Saudi Arabia. Designed by Spanish artist Lisett Ledón (Madrid), Italian artist Pasquale Garibaldi (Turin) and Saudi artist Shaker Kashgari, the NFTs represent Ronaldo’s current time with Al-Nassr FC.
Seven “super, super rare NFTs” will be auctioned in late June. Designed by Portuguese street artist Mr. Dheo, the limited-edition series celebrates Ronaldo’s long career with the national team.
The NFT collectibles come with a range of real-life rewards, including retro jerseys, football tickets, signed posters. Some collectors will be able to submit questions for Cristiano to answer in a personalized video for specific NFT holders.
