PANews reported on May 26 that Normie, the Meme coin of Base Ecosystem, tweeted that it had accepted the attacker's proposal to return 90% of the stolen ETH and allow him to keep 10% as a reward. Normie said that all ETH from the developer's wallet will be used to resolve the incident and assist in the project's restart.

Previously, the attacker proposed to return 90% of the stolen ETH through on-chain information and keep 10% as a bug bounty, provided that he would not be held responsible. At the same time, the attacker requested that this part of ETH and 600 ETH in the developer wallet be used to fairly issue new tokens to compensate NORMIE holders.
