According to Foresight News, TechCrunch reported that AI security company Protect AI has completed a $35 million Series A financing round, led by Evolution Equity Partners, with participation from Salesforce Ventures, Acrew Capital, boldstart ventures, Knollwood Capital and Pelion Ventures. This round of financing will be used to enhance the capabilities of the Protect AI platform, promote research, and launch new open source projects.
Ian Swanson, co-founder and CEO of Protect AI, said that Protect AI is creating a new category of machine learning security, focusing on actual threats in artificial intelligence and machine learning supply chains, and how these models are built. In addition, Protect AI also provides tools to defend against certain types of artificial intelligence attacks.
