The origins of XRP, the native cryptocurrency of the Ripple network, have been the subject of much speculation and intrigue within the crypto community. Recent revelations by analyst EDO FARINA suggest that XRP’s code was written before Bitcoin and that David Schwartz, a key figure in the development of XRP, was simultaneously working for the NSA while developing Bitcoin.

In 2007, the objective of OpenCoin was to create an open-source version of an electronic cash system. Interestingly, this predates the concept of Bitcoin, which was first introduced in 2008 with the publication of the white paper “A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System” by the pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto.

The revelation that OpenCoin, founded by Chris Larsen and Jed McCaleb, publicly denied being the same “OpenCoin” working on the electronic cash system has raised suspicions within the crypto community.

Further adding to the intrigue, Ripple transferred the

opencoin.com

domain to the exact opencoin.org that was working on the electronic cash system before Bitcoin’s existence.

Show more +Show less – XRP’s Name Changes and the Satoshi Connection

XRP has undergone multiple name changes throughout its history, allegedly to avoid drawing mass attention. Previously known as XNS, the name held cryptic meanings: “X” represented that the currency was not issued by any country, “N” stood for Nakamoto, and “S” represented Satoshi.

This connection to Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin, has led some to speculate that Bitcoin was designed to be a decoy, a test run, or merely a prototype for the ultimate goal of creating XRP. According to this theory, XRP is the final product, embodying everything “Satoshi” ever dreamed of.

The NSA Connection

The involvement of David Schwartz, a key figure in the development of XRP, with the NSA while simultaneously working on Bitcoin has further fueled conspiracy theories surrounding the origins of both cryptocurrencies. Some believe that the NSA may have played a role in the creation of Bitcoin and XRP, using them as tools for surveillance or economic control.

However, it is essential to approach these claims with a healthy dose of skepticism, as much of the information surrounding the origins of Bitcoin and XRP remains shrouded in mystery.
