[Witness Chain uses Polygon CDK for DePIN coordination layer development]

Witness Chain has announced plans to develop the DePIN Coordination Layer (DCL) with the help of Polygon CDK (Chain Development Kit). DCL will implement several functions. First, it opens the door to the development of composite DePIN DApps that combine DeFi and DePIN, providing new software.

In addition, DCL makes DePIN nodes programmable, facilitating futures market trading of resources such as computing, power, bandwidth, and storage. Third, it applies Rollups and Double Collateral to DePIN.

DCL also encourages the listing of assets on the chain and reaches a consensus on the reality of DePIN nodes. It simplifies cross-chain cross-chain procedures and supports optimistic rollups by aggregating Rollup Watchtower proofs on AggLayer.

The properties of Polygon CDK make it ideal for DePIN coordination layers. First, it provides Ethereum security by using Ethereum’s strong security measures and settling proofs on the Ethereum network. Secondly, it promotes interoperability, allowing CDK chains to seamlessly exchange data and interactions using AggLayer, so that proofs of the Witness Chain’s DCL layer can be easily used in other chains. In addition, CDK also provides gas customization services.

The Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK) is an open source modular software toolkit that developers can use to build new Ethereum-based Layer2 chains with zero-knowledge proofs (zkEVM) and optional validium.
