On this day 14 years ago, Lazlo Hanyecs, a programmer from Florida, bought 2 Papa John's pizzas for 10,000 BTC.
At that time 10,000 #btc had a value of approximately $41 dollars, and many people did not know #Bitcoin , since it was a new currency.
This fact would mark a historical milestone for Bitcoin, thus representing the first purchase using Bitcoin as a means of payment.
Today those 10,000 BTC used are equivalent to $700 million dollars. Crazy!
