🔥Grayscale CEO resigns.
#grayscale has appointed Peter Mintzberg as new CEO, after Michael Sonneshein stepped aside. This appointment will take effect on August 15 of this year.
At the moment the exact reasons for Sonnenshein's departure are unknown. Historically, the Grayscale #Bitcoin Spot ETF (GBTC), has had a long outflow from a large number of investors, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Sonnenshein became CEO of Grayscale in 2021, and a few years later achieved the historic court victory against the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, allowing Grayscale to list its Bitcoin spot #ETF .
