Vitalik Buterin, one of the founders of Ethereum, responded to three criticisms about Ethereum.

Vitalik Buterin addressed criticisms regarding MEV, liquid staking and node cost issues in Ethereum on his blog.

Buterin said, “These are things that I personally worry about from time to time,” and thinks that these problems can be solved.

Buterin argues that to solve the MEV problem, they need to be quarantined (destroying developers' ability to extract transactions within a block).

Operating a standalone node in the Ethereum network carries a high cost in terms of hardware. That person must additionally stake at least 32 Ethereum.

Vitalik Buterin wrote that this cost can be reduced and Ethereum can become an exemplary project for the industry along with decentralized staking pools.
