According to the news from journalists in Iran, they say that it is not possible for the region where the accident took place to withstand very dense fog and cold weather conditions. They explain that the land structure and weather conditions prevent the search work. In this case, we have two possibilities.
My personal opinion
1) I think the Chief has lost his life, but the Iranian state is thinking about how to explain this to the public.
2) They say that they could not reach the scene of the accident and still have not received any news. This makes me think that it is not possible for them to survive both the terrain conditions, the fact that it is a wild animal area, and the harsh weather conditions.
