According to PANews, cyber investigator ZachXBT announced via his Telegram channel that Middle Eastern cryptocurrency exchange Rain is suspected of being hacked, resulting in a loss of $14.8 million.
- ZachXBT reported that the vulnerability occurred on April 29, 2024, when Rain's BTC, ETH, SOL, and XRP wallets showed suspicious outflows of funds. These funds were quickly transferred to spot exchanges and converted into BTC and ETH. Rain has not yet responded to media requests for comment.
