PANews reported on May 11 that the LayerZero Labs community released a proposal called "Protocol RFP" as the first step in the TGE allocation process, enabling each project to establish personalized allocation criteria relative to its overall token allocation. Any project that has deployed OApp, OFT, or ONFT contracts on the mainnet before Snapshot#1and declared it on LayerZero Scan is eligible to submit a proposal. The proposal allows projects to set their own distribution strategy for token allocation, and recommends considering the following suggestions when creating proposals: rewards should be retroactive for behavior before Snapshot #1; token allocations do not have to be weighted entirely based on LayerZero messages. The team recommends that each team provide a developer's address so that the development team can receive 10% of the allocation directly to the developer from this RFP.

The LayerZero Foundation will strictly review the addresses submitted by the project and compare them with the final Sybil report to ensure the fairness of the allocation. Any address that appears in the Sybil report will be automatically disqualified from the allocation unless it has been self-reported. At the same time, addresses submitted by projects that have not performed any operations before Snapshot#1will be included in the RFP blacklist. It should be noted that the Protocol RFP is only one aspect of the TGE, and more information about token allocation (including single user allocation and future protocol allocation) will be announced soon.
