Apple Inc. will deliver some of its upcoming artificial intelligence (AI) features this year through data centers equipped with its own processors, part of a broader effort to offer AI capabilities on its products. The company will use high-end chips - similar to those designed for Macs - in cloud computing servers that handle the most complex AI tasks on Apple devices, while simpler AI-related functions will be handled directly on iPhones, iPads and Macs, people familiar with the matter said.
