Odaily Planet Daily News Former NFL player Rob Gronkowski has agreed to pay $1.9 million to settle a Voyager Digital investor lawsuit, according to court documents. In 2021, the multiple Super Bowl champion signed on as Voyager's brand ambassador, shareholder, and holder of Voyager's VGX token. The cryptocurrency lending company then filed for bankruptcy the following year. Court documents state that "all settlement defendants are required to jointly provide $2,425,000 in economic compensation." The defendants listed in this wave of proposed settlements include Gronkowski, NBA player Victor Oladipo and race car driver Landon Cassill. If the court accepts the proposed settlement, Gronkowski will pay $1.9 million of the total, according to court documents.
