Game public chain Xai background
The Xai Network is a blockchain network focused on gaming finance (GameFi), empowering potentially billions of traditional gamers to participate in open transactions, allowing them to trade in-game items in their favorite games without having to deal with crypto Wallet interaction. The Xai network is open and decentralized, enabling anyone to operate a node, earn network rewards, and participate in governance. The Xai network is developed by Offchain Labs (the parent company behind Arbitrum) and leverages Arbitrum technology.

The testnet with the most amazing data so far
Since launching their testnet, the Xai network has accumulated over 3 million daily transactions, 100 million TXs, and over 350,000 unique wallet addresses on the testnet, demonstrating the huge interest in this blockchain network and potential.

Xai Sentinel Node Key Sales
Xai’s node key sales will be officially on sale at 12 noon on December 7th, Beijing time!
By participating in the Sentinel node key sale, users will receive a non-transferable Sentinel license key in the form of NFT. The Sentinel license serves as proof of eligibility for nodes to submit applications and receive rewards. The sale will be carried out on Arbitrum, and users can use ETH to purchase (ETH rushes to the ARB chain, don’t get me wrong!), and the price is in ETH, so the node key for the first tier of 300 USDT is about 0.13 ETH per key according to the current price. !
The Sentry node is a program, similar to the BTC program, which can be downloaded and run for free (it is not currently available for download). There is no need to spend money to buy the node program, anyone can download and run it!
What is being sold fairly is the node key, and nodes can only get token rewards if they load the key! A node can load multiple keys!
Sentry nodes are so lightweight that the Xai project technical team has tested running dozens of keys simultaneously on a single laptop without any issues. The node will support Windows, MacOS and Ubuntu systems. A command line interface (CLI) version will also be available. Running a Sentry node on your laptop is as easy as running a common desktop application like Slack, Discord, or Steam. You can expect significantly lower hardware, bandwidth, and power costs compared to traditional nodes in other popular ecosystems.
What is a sentinel node?
Sentinel nodes used by Xai are observation nodes that monitor the Xai Roll Up protocol and protect the security of the blockchain network by raising alerts when incorrect blocks are proposed. Anyone can run a Sentinel node on their laptop, desktop, or even a cloud instance by simply downloading the software, installing it, and running. Node operators will be rewarded with XAI tokens for helping secure the Xai network, but must first purchase at least one Sentinel license key.

Xai Sentinel Node Sales FAQ
1. Get up to 5% discount
There are discount codes for node sales, and you can get up to 5% discount. In other words, after entering the discount code, a node KEY of 300 US dollars can be discounted at 95%, that is, 300*0.95 = 285 US dollars.
Readers of Binance Square can enter Binance or BA to enjoy a 5% discount, please pay attention to capitalization!
2.About KYC
The Xai project is located in the United States, and the project must comply with U.S. regulations. The Xai project has confirmed that Chinese users can purchase Xai nodes. KYC is required to receive Xai node rewards. The KYC service provider is handled by a professional financial KYC company in the United States. The certification process is similar to completing Binance’s KYC certification. As long as you are not a US resident and are not a known terrorist or criminal, you can pass KYC. So don't worry about KYC.
Note that one wallet address can only correspond to one KYC, so if you purchase from 2 wallets, you will need 2 different KYCs!
The KYC service provider is Blockpass
3. How to run a node
Sentinel node software supports Windows desktop, Mac and Linux-Ubuntu (requires 64-bit). The following are the hardware resources required for a computer to download the node, run it, and load the Sentinel node software for 100 license keys:
4GB of RAM
2 CPU cores
60 GB disk space
x86/X64 processor (supports ARM processor, such as Apple M1/M2 chip)
Stable internet connection
Currently, nodes can be run in the Chinese mainland environment without any restrictions. In theory, it is very smooth. Double-click to run without any other actions. Nodes must be kept running at all times, similar to Bitcoin mining machines.
4. The relationship between nodes and node keys
What is sold is the node key. Node is a program that anyone can download and run. There is no token gain for not loading node keys. The relationship between nodes and node keys is: if you load one node key you can receive X tokens, then loading ten node keys you can receive 10X tokens.
5. Specific time for node sales
The Xai Sentry Node sales event is planned for:
Beijing time: December 7 at 12 noon
6. How much can you buy at one time?
The node key is in the form of NFT, which is equivalent to MINT an NFT. Considering the technical situation of Arbitrum One, when you purchase 70 keys at a time, gwei will reach the top. It is recommended to purchase up to 50 keys at a time.
7. Which network does ETH go to?
Node keys are sold on Arbitrum One, so you have to find a way to transfer ETH to ARB (no need to teach you about this, right?) It is worth mentioning that the Binance Web3 wallet is supported, so you can make transactions in the Binance APP It is OK for the ETH to be transferred to your Web3 wallet, and then you can scan it directly in the Binance APP.
In addition, ETH is denominated in US dollars and does not need to be converted into stable currencies such as USDT or USDC.
8. Beware of scammers
I understand everyone’s urgency, but be sure to be careful about scammers!
The highest discount is only 5%, don’t trust others for more discounts. Just enter Binance or BA
Once the key is purchased, it cannot be transferred. Do not trust other channels to give it to you.
The community will officially announce the download, operation, and use of nodes, so don’t believe in gossip. Don't worry, it won't take more than 1 minute. This is not a bully.
9. What will happen if I run multiple computers on one node?
Some community members want to turn on the computers in the company and the computers at home to ensure that the nodes are online. Although this seems crazy, there is no problem. It has no effect if several computers run nodes and load the same key. Whichever one produces the block will be rewarded. You will neither be punished nor receive additional benefits.
10. How much GAS is needed to run a node and collect coins?
On average, depositing 0.001 ETH (Ethereum) into your Sentry wallet is enough to cover the network gas fee (Gas fee) for activating 1 key on a node running 24/7 for a year. Please note that you should fund your Sentry wallet using Ethereum on the Arbitrum One platform.
11.When will the Xai mainnet be launched?
Xai’s mainnet is expected to go online around January 2024, when multiple third-party developers will deploy games, decentralized applications (DApps) and infrastructure.
12. How safe is it to run a node?
The node will have a wallet address, and adding 0.001 ETH to it can satisfy one year's GAS. Then just buy the wallet signature authorization of the node key. Therefore, your wallet private key will not have anything to do with the node.
