Wu said that the Nanjing Procuratorate disclosed a case: from 2016 to 2018, Hai, a staff member of a public security bureau, obtained electronic data involving bitcoin information in the case and handed it over to Ji, a staff member of a network security company, for identification. Ji cracked the above-mentioned bitcoin key and stole some bitcoins. Hai repeatedly asked Ji for a total of 4.5 million yuan in cash and 200 bitcoins from Ji, which were worth more than 12 million yuan at the time. After Hai and others were arrested, the case-handling unit cashed out more than 48.2272 million yuan and turned it over to the state treasury.
