️ Tesla starts accepting Dogecoin as a payment method in Tesla stores

Elon Musk’s electric car company Tesla recently announced that it will now accept Dogecoin as a payment method in Tesla stores. According to the Dogecoin support page on Tesla’s website, customers can now purchase eligible Tesla products using Dogecoin by looking for the Dogecoin symbol next to the “Order” page of Dogecoin-eligible items. The update was made on May 4, as reported by Wayback Machine.

Customers who wish to purchase using Dogecoin must do so through a Dogecoin wallet. All eligible Tesla products will be clearly listed with prices in Dogecoin, including any applicable taxes, as described in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section.

However, there are certain terms that you need to be aware of when paying with Dogecoin. These terms include restrictions on using multiple wallets for a single order, no cancellations after an order has been placed, and no returns for items purchased using Dogecoin.

In addition, it is worth noting that Tesla only accepts Dogecoin as a payment method and cannot process any other digital assets. The decision follows Musk’s comments about Dogecoin at an event at Tesla’s Gigafactory in Germany in March. When asked if Tesla might accept Dogecoin for cars, Musk was supportive and hinted that this could happen “at some point.”
