Circle, the issuer of the popular stablecoin #USDC has blacklisted three wallet addresses associated with the hacking of the Multichain cross-chain bridge.
The stolen USDC, totaling $63 million, is now frozen and cannot be cashed out by hackers. However, it is unclear whether Circle will return the funds to Multichain.
In the past, #Tether and #Circle , the largest issuers of the world's most liquid stablecoins, have intervened to prevent bad actors from cashing out.
