🔥The future of the Ethereum spot ETF in the United States.
Last week we saw how #Ethereum has been making headlines, due to a lawsuit filed by Consensys, developer of the Metamask wallet, against the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (#SEC ), which leads us to ask about the future of Ethereum.
According to investment bank TD Cowen, this new legal battle will be a protracted affair, which could take years. TD Cowen says the court needs to determine whether Ethereum is a #Commodity or a security, in order to take the next step.
Next June 11 is the deadline to know if the SEC approves the #ETF Ethereum spot, for which there is a high probability that they will continue to postpone it, according to TD Cowen. For the investment bank, it is unlikely to see an Ethereum ETF before 2025.
