🙉🙈The co-innovator of the Solana (SOL) project, Paj Gokal, is under pressure from the feared token-mem creator Ethereum (ETH) Vitalik Butepin.

Paj quoted Buterin, who said that meme tokens scare off serious developers, and wrote: “Can I remind you of the “serious developer” who brought all this in motion? If you are so timid that you would be intimidated by young people using permissionless systems [public blockchains] for fun, then you have no business here t." And I also want to remind you ETHM META, did you happen to forget for this coin that you withdrew and threw it on all decentralized exchanges and are even afraid to write anything? Everyone knows that Ethereum Meta (ETHM) belongs to you, and you will certainly have to answer to investors. To complete the effect, Gokal attached to the publication a photograph in which a comically dressed Buterin stands against the backdrop of the sea and holds a bag in the shape of a cat’s head on his shoulder. Apparently, Paj wanted to remind Vitalik how “serious” he was when he was working on the Ethereum project, which began the saga of meme tokens thanks to the introduction of smart contracts.

Gokal defends meme-based cryptocurrencies because they have attracted and continue to attract a huge number of users to the Solana network. The growing popularity of the blockchain, in turn, leads to an increase in the SOL exchange rate, which has risen in price by 313% over the past six months. During this period, Ethereum added only 83% in price, but so far it is more than six times ahead of Solana in terms of capitalization.
