According to Bloomberg, U.S. Rep. Hill said on Bloomberg TV's "Balance of Power" that how best to pass such a bill would depend on the leadership of the House of Representatives. He added that if the two bills were tied together, he would vote for it. Hill has supported the SAFE Banking Act in Congress for nine years, which would allow marijuana dealers in legal states to enter the banking system. He believes that if these companies participate in the banking system, it will be easier to catch bad actors and illegal activities. The Arkansas Republican said that lawmakers are close to reaching a bipartisan agreement on stablecoin regulation legislation. He agreed, "We have made a lot of progress in the past year, and if we can pass these two bills, our country will benefit."
