According to the Daily Planet, Binance has been hit with a new class action lawsuit in Canada, with the plaintiff accusing the company of violating local securities laws. The Ontario Superior Court issued a certification motion on April 19, filing a class action lawsuit against Binance, accusing it of selling crypto derivatives products to retail investors without registration. According to the plaintiffs represented by Christopher Lochan and Jeremy Leeder, Binance sold crypto derivatives products in violation of the Ontario Securities Act (OSA) and federal law.
