[Cathie Wood is bullish: She bought new Bitcoin and new Tesla stock]
Cathie Wood added to Bitcoin in her ARKB ETF and bought Tesla stock. According to recent trading updates from Ark Invest, she was heavily invested in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tesla, while clearing out multiple strategic stock market positions. Specifically, Wood added 490,751 Bitcoin shares to her ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF on April 18, an investment of nearly $30 million. This brings the total number of Bitcoins managed by ARKB to 45,177 Bitcoins worth $2.8 billion.
Additionally, she added 42,800 ProShares Ether Strategy ETF shares worth approximately $2.83 million to the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF and added $834,000 worth of shares to the ARK 21Shares Active Ethereum Futures Strategy ETF.
Wood also purchased 88,720 Tesla shares worth approximately $13.79 million. While she's optimistic about Tesla, she decided to put her Tesla stock purchases on hold after Elon Musk announced price cuts on multiple EV models in China and the United States.
