For a long time, I thought that only those who wrote code could be considered contributors. Later, I reflected that I might have fallen into a career trap. After all, I am a coder.
When I look beyond this narrow perspective, I see that there are many ways to contribute to Bitcoin:
Discuss: For example, participate in reddit/bitcointalk forum discussions, participate in IRC code review every Wednesday, participate in mailing list discussions, participate in PR discussions, etc.
Coding: Coding also has many aspects, such as participating in core code development, writing test cases, participating in lib library development, participating in scaffolding development, participating in technical document translation and correction, etc.
Suggestion: The most direct way is to write a BIP;
Education: writing blogs, books, tutorials, videos, translations, sermons, etc.
Network: For example, running a synchronous full node, participating in computing power supply (mining), participating in ecological construction, etc.
If you don’t want to do any of the above, then hoard coins

As long as we follow the principle of "make it better", I think we are contributing to Bitcoin.
