The Omni Network ( $OMNI ) is set to become the 52nd project featured on Binance Launchpool. OMNI is a layer 1 blockchain designed to unify Ethereum's rollup ecosystem into a seamless system.
The primary challenge Ethereum faces is the fragmentation caused by the adoption of rollups. As rollups gain more traction, Ethereum's users and their capital are increasingly divided into separate ecosystems, degrading the overall network effects. Omni Network addresses this issue by integrating all rollups into a cohesive, interoperable L1 network.
Omni token will be used for gas abstraction and governance of the network.
According to their ecosystem page, there are currently 22 projects using the Omni Network, such as Arbitrum, Polygon, AltLayer and Optimism.
