In 2023, the number of layer 2 blockchains on Bitcoin is increasing with more than 25 projects, a relatively large number compared to the number of layer 2 blockchains on Ethereum which has only reached 38 projects.
This shows that developers have identified Bitcoin layer 2 as an inevitable trend in the near future.
That is why CKB, as a veteran project in the public chain ecosystem, adjusted its mainnet positioning to Bitcoin layer 2, and launched an RGB++ asset protocol layer.
By taking advantage of the development momentum of Bitcoin layer 2, combined with its own mainstream “BUFF” UTXO + PoW, it is expected that CKB will quickly become a hot topic in the community.
