BTC miners' revenue hit a record high of $2.01 billion in March, and CEX legal spot trading volume increased by 115.8%

According to data released by The Block's research director @lars0x on the X platform, the situation of the crypto market in March was disclosed in detail. Here is a summary of the key points:

- Most indicators show continued growth, and many indicators have set new all-time highs.

- Adjusted total on-chain transaction volume increased by 59.3% to $587 billion (BTC increased by 59.5%, ETH increased by 59.1%).

- Adjusted stablecoin on-chain transaction volume increased by 41.3% to $893.8 billion.

- Issued supply increased by 6.2% to $137.4 billion, of which USDT and USDC had market shares of 76.3% and 19.7% respectively.

- BTC miners' revenue increased by 44.9% to a new high of $2.01 billion, while ETH stakers' revenue increased by 44.5% to $309.3 million.

- A total of 147,620 ETH were destroyed, equivalent to $543 million. Since the implementation of EIP-1559 in early August 2021, 4.23 million ETH have been destroyed, equivalent to $11.84 billion.

- Ethereum monthly NFT market trading volume fell 3.6% to $726 million.

- CEX legal spot trading volume increased by 115.8% to $1.44 trillion, of which Binance accounted for 78.5%, Coinbase accounted for 10.9%, Kraken accounted for 3.4%, and LMAX Digital accounted for 1.3%.

- In terms of futures, open positions: BTC increased by 33.2%, ETH increased by 18.6%; in terms of trading volume, BTC monthly futures trading volume increased by 80.8% to $2.02 trillion; CME Bitcoin futures open positions increased by 49.5% to a new high of $11.7 billion, and daily average trading volume increased by 114.8% to a new high of $6.8 billion.
