On June 8, 2023, AliExpress, the online retail subsidiary of Chinese technology giant Alibaba, announced a partnership with Web3 developer The Moment3! to launch a series of NFTs based on shopping themes.

The upcoming series will contain 5,555 NFTs and is scheduled to debut on June 25, 2023. However, less than a day after the announcement, the Alibaba International Station tweet was deleted. But The Moment3! has not deleted the message at present. The official Twitter account of The Moment3! was created on June 6, and no further introduction has been made on other official channels. However, the cooperation tweet at that time did not include any link.

Although no reason was provided for Alibaba International Station's removal of the original announcement, cryptocurrency-related matters have not been allowed, forcing the company to remove keywords related to "NFT".

In April, a Bitcoin price quote was added to Douyin, China’s version of TikTok with more than 1 billion users, but was removed by authorities less than 48 hours later. Currently, trading of cryptocurrencies with fiat currencies, mining and exchange activities (but not direct ownership) are all banned in China.
