🚨 Tron Foundation called on the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to dismiss the securities lawsuit filed against the platform. Tron claimed that the SEC had gone too far in its attempt to apply US securities laws to "mostly foreign actions", arguing that it was not a "worldwide regulator". The Singapore-based company stated that the SEC has no authority in these matters. Tron stated that its token sales were conducted "entirely overseas" and that it had taken additional steps to avoid the US market. Arguing that the SEC's uncertainty about the case brought the legitimacy of the case into question, Tron put forward the big questions doctrine to dismiss the case.
