According to BTC.com, there are currently about 25 days until Bitcoin’s fourth “halving” occurs, and there are 3,639 remaining blocks.
Block halving refers to the process of reducing the amount of digital currency generated per unit time, mainly by reducing block rewards.
To date, the Bitcoin network has experienced three halvings in 2012, 2016, and 2020.
