Venus, the lending protocol on BNB Chain, initiated a vote on Proposal VIP-123. In order to eliminate the lending security problem caused by the single point failure of the Chainlink oracle machine’s price feed, the previous price feed mechanism was modified to a flexible price model. The new oracle machines include: Chainlink, Pyth Network, Binance Oracle, and TWAP based on PancakeSwap.
The proposal is part of the upcoming major Venus V4 update, which includes:

2. Stable lending interest rates
3. Governance modification
4. Additional oracles
5. Improve user experience
6. Improvement of risk management
7. Bond issuance: strategic financing transactions with institutional investors
