Starknet, ZK-Rollup's solution for scaling decentralized applications, has announced its roadmap for 2024.

The roadmap outlines ambitious plans to increase transaction throughput and reduce transaction fees on the Ethereum Layer 2 network. One of the most notable updates in the roadmap is the introduction of parallel execution in version 0.13.2, which is scheduled for release in the second quarter of this year. This feature will change the way Starknet's sequencer, a component that organizes and collects multiple off-chain transactions before sending them to the Ethereum blockchain, operates.

Instead of executing each process sequentially as is currently the case, parallelism will allow multiple processes to be executed simultaneously.
