This article will provide you with a detailed tutorial on how to buy SOL tokens using the Binance exchange.
Step 1: Register a Binance account
1. Click the Binance exchange registration link below to enter the registration page.

If the page is in English, you can click the "Globe" button in the upper right corner, scroll to the end and click [Simplified Chinese] to switch the page to Chinese mode.
2. Click the "Register by Email/Mobile Number" button.
3. Enter your email address (you can use domestic 163 email, QQ email, or foreign Outlook email, Gmail email, etc.) or mobile phone number. If you register with a mobile phone number, you need to change the area code in front to "+86 (China)". Then enter your mobile phone number, check the box to agree to the terms, and click [Next].
4. Conduct real-person authentication as required.
5. Next, the system will send a 6-digit verification code to your mobile phone number. Search for it, fill in the verification code, and click [Submit].
6. Set a password. It must be at least 8 characters, at least 1 number and 1 capital letter. After setting, click the "Next" button.
7. If you registered using my link, the invitation code will be automatically displayed here.
8. Account registration is successful. Click "Yes" to stay logged in.
Step 2: Binance real-name authentication
After completing the account registration, real-name authentication is required. It cannot be used without authentication.
1. After logging into your account, if the English interface is displayed, you can click the "Globe" button in the upper right corner, scroll down, find "Simplified Chinese", and change the interface mode to Chinese.
2. Click the "Authentication" button to enter the identity authentication page.
3. Select "China" for residence information and click [Continue]
4. Select "China" for nationality, fill in your name and date of birth. Click [Continue].
Please note that you must fill in your real identity information here, because facial recognition will be required later.
5. Select "China" for the region/country of issuance of the document, select "ID card" for the document type, and click [Continue]
6.Upload the front and back photos of your ID card as required. Click [Continue]
7. You can choose to take a photo with a camera or upload a photo to complete the entire identity verification process on the computer. Click [Continue]
9. If you choose to upload a photo, the details in the uploaded photo must be clear and visible, and the ID card must be taken completely, with every corner taken care of. It is best to take the photo against a solid color background, so that it will be more recognizable. Also note that the ID card must be original and within the validity period. Click [Upload] to upload the front (portrait side) and back (national emblem side) of the ID card respectively, and click [Continue]. Then scan your face according to the system prompts to complete the authentication.
Step 3: Account security settings
Although we have registered an account and completed real-name authentication, our current account still has security risks. In order to further ensure the security of the account, we also need to set up security settings for the account.
1. Return to the Binance homepage, click the little man avatar in the upper right corner, and find [Account]
2. Click [Account Security]. Set up the authenticator app, email address, and phone number respectively. These three items are very important. It is recommended to set them all.
3. Regarding the phone number item, since we used the mobile phone number when registering, it will show a green check mark indicating that it has been bound, so we don’t need to worry about it.
For email verification, click [Manage] at the back, select [Add Email], enter the verification code and click [Submit], and enter the email number for binding as prompted.
4. Here we focus on the binding of the authenticator.
Click [Manage] behind the Authenticator APP, click "Enable Authenticator APP", enter the verification code from your mobile phone number, and click [Submit]
5. The authenticator QR code and the 16-digit key below will appear.
6. Open the Google Authenticator APP (the download method of the Google Authenticator APP will be introduced in the later part of the article). You can click the camera in the picture below to scan the QR code above or enter the 16-digit key below the QR code above. Both methods are acceptable. Then click the "Next" button in the picture above.
After completing the above operations, a 6-digit verification code will appear on your Google Authenticator APP. Enter this verification code into the authenticator and click the [Submit] button. This completes the binding of Google Authenticator.
After successfully binding Google Authenticator, the next time you log in to your account or make a withdrawal, in addition to entering your account password, you will also need to fill in the Google Authenticator verification code for double verification to ensure the security of your account funds.
Step 4: Download the Binance APP
1) Download on Android phone
Android users can use the browser that comes with their phone to download directly.
If a virus warning appears during the download process, just ignore it.
2) Download on iPhone
1. Apple phone users need to register an Apple ID from another region first. You can watch the video below to register. If you are unsuccessful or find it troublesome, you can also buy an Apple ID from another region on Baidu. It only costs a few dollars.
2. After you have an overseas Apple ID, open the app store and click on the small avatar in the upper right corner. Scroll down to the end. Click [Log Out] to log out of the original ID.
3. Enter the overseas Apple ID we registered and log in.
4. Search for "Binance" in the search box. The first thing that will be displayed is an advertisement for Binance. Select Binance below to download. Wait for it to be installed.
Step 5: Buy USDT
1. Click "One-click Coin Purchase" in the upper left corner of the Binance homepage and select "Custom Area"
2. Click "Buy", select USDT as the currency, and enter the amount to be purchased. The "CNY" at the end means RMB, which is the legal currency we will use. Select the payment method you are used to.
At this time, the system will filter out some merchants that can be traded for us, and the order of the merchants' prices is from low to high. Because we want to "buy", of course we want to buy from merchants with low prices, large transaction volumes and high praise rates. For example, "Jiazhihuo Shang", which has a transaction volume of more than 14,000 and a praise rate of 100%, we can buy from this merchant and click "Buy USDT"
3. Enter the amount you want to buy again. Enter 100. It will automatically calculate that you can receive 13.45 USDT for paying 100 RMB.
Please be sure to read the transaction terms of the advertiser carefully and pay the merchant according to the requirements. After confirming that there is no problem, click [Buy USDT]
4. Order generation. You need to pay the merchant according to the payment method displayed on the page within the specified time. After the payment is completed, click [I have paid, notify the other party] and wait for the seller to release the currency to us.
