StarkWare announced the launch of a new ZKP prover
The team at StarkWare, the developer of the layer-2 Ethereum network StarkNet, has announced the launch of a new zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) verification tool called Stwo.
According to the statement, Stwo is an implementation of the Circle STARK protocol developed jointly with Polygon Labs.
The solution is originally an open source product under the Apache 2.0 license.
StarkWare called Stwo a "super-fast testing tool" for ZKP.
“The incredibly fast, open source Stwo program will provide StarkNet developers with a streamlined verification experience on all fronts. And yes, this will lead to cheaper transactions for users,” the developers said.
