Recognized for their expertise and contributions

The Cybersecurity Elite Recognition Program was first held in 2016. It is Hong Kong's most iconic cybersecurity professional award, which aims to recognize the outstanding achievements and professional skills of cybersecurity personnel in different industries. Binance stood out from many nominees and was recognized by the selection committee for its long-term cooperation with Hong Kong law enforcement officers and its proactive assistance to law enforcement agencies in different cases.

A representative of the Hong Kong Police Force said: "With the advent of the digital age, the Hong Kong Police Force is very concerned about the latest technological developments and crime trends. One of the important tasks is to strengthen cooperation with practitioners from all walks of life, such as the industry and enterprises, to improve law enforcement efficiency and jointly combat crime through resource sharing, intelligence exchange and talent cultivation. Therefore, we are very grateful to Binance for its long-term support and collaboration in combating cybercrime. In the future, the police force will continue to communicate and cooperate with industry experts to ensure the security of the network operating environment."

Carlos Mak, Binance representative and member of the Binance Investigation Team, said: "I am honored to receive this award on behalf of Binance in this program. This award is an important recognition of Binance's long-term efforts in protecting the security of the Web3 network. We believe that close cooperation with law enforcement officers and regulators is an indispensable part of the work of weeding out criminals in the industry. Binance is very happy to work with Hong Kong law enforcement officers to contribute to network security. In the future, Binance will continue to work hard to improve the global Web3 security and build a trustworthy Web3 ecosystem."

Binance always puts user protection first and has one of the strongest financial crime compliance departments in the industry. It not only plays a key role in solving many major international cases, but also actively cooperates with various law enforcement agencies around the world to share virtual asset expertise and experience. These efforts have made a significant contribution to creating a safer virtual asset environment.
