Chairman of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee: After the passage of MiCA regulations, Europe is ahead of the United States in Web3 technology regulation

Patrick McHenry, chairman of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee, said the EU’s new crypto regulation, MiCA, puts the region at the forefront of Web3 technology.

McHenry believes that Europe is showing people they are ahead of the United States through Web3, which should send shudders down the spine of Americans because economic growth comes from technological ingenuity.

He said, “The fact that the Europeans have a technologically advanced legal line here shows how far behind the U.S. is. We should be the world leader in technology deployment, not lagging behind Europe.” (CoinDesk)
