According to BlockBeats, blockchain game startup Proof of Play officially launched a multi-chain system built on the Arbitrum Orbit technology stack and an exclusively developed on-chain game engine on February 23. The multi-chain system is designed to provide optimized support for real-time full-chain gameplay and decentralized applications that can be expanded to the scale of the Internet. Over the past 15 months, Proof of Play has successfully built and expanded its flagship full-chain game "Pirate Nation", while secretly developing a to-be-announced technology stack and game engine. In the next few days, "Pirate Nation" will migrate to the multi-chain system and become the first full-chain game to run on a dedicated mainnet. After the migration, the gameplay will be based on the multi-chain system, and the founding pirate NFT will continue to be stored on Ethereum L1 to achieve the cross-chain function of the game. Proof of Play has been committed to creating the basic building blocks to achieve this goal for the past year. Its gas-free solution supports seamless conversion between networks, and the mirror function allows player assets to exist on any network. The company chose to work with Arbitrum to launch the first batch of on-chain games on its Orbit technology stack.
