[Cryptocurrency Analyst Shares Possible Biggest Airdrops in 2024]
The cryptocurrency industry has witnessed a number of high-profile airdrops in recent years, such as Uniswap, LooksRare, Arbitrum, Flare Network, Pyth Network, and most recently Jito. Renowned cryptocurrency analyst Miles Deutscher predicts that Manta Network’s upcoming airdrop could become one of the largest airdrops of 2024.
Manta Network is an emerging Layer 2 that has attracted widespread attention on Ethereum for its "modular blockchain". The Manta Pacific mainnet launched by the network is a zero-knowledge (ZK) application Layer2 platform designed to help developers create low-fee, high-performance, and almost instant settlement applications. Currently, Manta ranks 13th globally with a total value locked (TVL) of $287 million, according to DeFiLama.
Manta is currently running an event called "New Paradigm" that rewards users for transferring assets from Ethereum to the network. Users who interact with DeFi protocols and NFTs on Manta Pacific also have the opportunity to earn more rewards.
Deutscher recommends that users transfer at least 0.2 ETH (approximately $400) or the equivalent in USDC to gain access to short-term investment. The higher the transfer amount, the more Manta tokens users will receive in the airdrop expected to take place later this month.
Additionally, another highly anticipated airdrop will take place later this month involving leading Solana base protocol Jupiter. The DEX aggregator plans to conduct a backward airdrop for its community before the end of the month.
