According to Odaily Planet Daily, Vast Space, an aerospace startup founded by Ripple co-founder Jed McCaleb, has revealed plans for its successor to the International Space Station, joining the ranks of companies such as Blue Origin.

Haven-2 will serve as a specialized laboratory in low Earth orbit, allowing tourists to conduct microgravity research and become a destination for astronauts from NASA's international partners.

The company’s long-term vision is to have the first module of Haven-2 in space and fully operational in 2028. “We chose this ambitious timeline and strategy as a way to disrupt the industry and win the competition,” said Max Haot, Vast CEO.
