Brazilian judge Alexandre de Moraes ruled on Oct. 8 that social media platform X will resume operations in the country within 24 hours, Cointelegraph reported.

The platform was blocked on August 30 for failing to comply with a Brazilian court order to investigate the spread of false information.

The judge ordered the immediate lifting of the blockade and authorized X Brasil Internet Ltda. to resume operations nationwide, while instructing the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) to take the necessary measures and report to the Supreme Court within 24 hours.

The payment of the fine was confirmed on October 7. Due to unusual circumstances, the fine funds were mistakenly deposited into another account on October 4. Last week, Musk's satellite company Starlink transferred the funds to the correct account.
