According to Odaily, Microsoft is advancing its global artificial intelligence (AI) strategy by setting up two major centers in Abu Dhabi. The tech giant announced that the first AI center in Abu Dhabi will focus on identifying, developing, and promoting best practices and industry standards for the responsible use of AI in the Middle East and the Global South. This initiative aims to foster the responsible application of AI technologies in these regions.

Microsoft stated that the establishment of these AI centers will aid in formulating policies for the use and design of AI applications. Additionally, the centers will work on integrating digital safety and cybersecurity programs into AI model training and deployment. The company also plans to develop processes to enhance AI systems' defenses against detection, testing, and attacks.
