According to TechFlow, on September 6, former US President Trump gave a speech at the New York Economic Club, outlining his potential second-term economic agenda. Trump reiterated that if re-elected, he would make the United States the "cryptocurrency capital of the world."

Trump said the United States will embrace future industries, including making the United States the world center for cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin Ordinals, rather than cracking down on them.

Trump also said that if elected, he would accept Elon Musk's suggestion to set up a government efficiency commission to audit federal government spending and eliminate waste. He half-jokingly said that he would appoint the "unbusy" Musk to lead the commission.
