According to Odaily, cross-chain service provider Cosmos Hub has introduced a new proposal titled 'Permissionless ICS Third-Party Audit.' The proposal, initiated by Simply Staking, aims to commission Zellic to conduct a third-party security audit of the permissionless ICS feature. This feature allows anyone to create opt-in consumer chains without requiring permission. The audit will be funded by the community pool, with a total budget of approximately $121,500 (around 24,850 ATOM). This budget includes the costs for Simply Staking to coordinate the audit and manage the multisig fund transfers. Any remaining funds will be returned to the community pool.
