According to BlockBeats, on August 30, Fortune magazine said that social media platform X announced that its San Francisco headquarters will be closed on September 13. In 2012, Twitter took over the building, and Musk fired thousands of employees after becoming the owner and removed the Twitter logo on the exterior of the building.

The company has not disclosed further information to employees since early August, when CEO Linda Yaccarino said it would close its San Francisco office. San Francisco employees will be transferred to offices in San Jose or Palo Alto. X’s headquarters are expected to move to Texas.
