According to ChainCatcher, the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) filed a lawsuit against sports betting company DraftKings in a federal court in New York, accusing it of violating a licensing agreement for the use of NFL player portraits and owing nearly $65 million.

Previously, DraftKings canceled its NFT gaming experience due to "legal developments," a move related to a class-action lawsuit over whether NFTs are unregistered securities. The NFLPA pointed out that five DraftKings executives have received a total of $261 million in compensation since 2021, four times what the company owes.
