According to PANews, the new Policy Address will be released in October. Li Jiachao attended the first regional consultation meeting of the Policy Address held by the Hong Kong government in Tai Po. Some citizens suggested setting up a "Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority" to regulate virtual assets.

In his summary of the consultation meeting, Lee Ka-chiu said that Hong Kong's economic growth this year was about 2.5% to 3%, and assessed that next year's economic growth would be better than this year. However, he pointed out that there were many uncertain factors and some industries faced greater challenges, such as small and medium-sized enterprises.

He mentioned that improving Hong Kong's competitiveness requires strengthening talent training. In addition to attracting overseas professionals, the Hong Kong government attaches great importance to local talents and hopes that training can be linked to industrial development.
