According to TechFlow, according to the latest survey by Pantera Research Lab, the median salary of full-time female cryptocurrency practitioners in the United States is $172,000, while that of men is $150,000, with women earning nearly 15% more. This result is in contrast to the phenomenon that men in traditional industries generally earn more than women.
The survey data comes from a sampling of 502 full-time employees in the United States between June 4 and July 20, 2024, and is collected through channels such as LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and email. The study found that the average work experience of women in cryptocurrency companies is 5.3 years, higher than the 4.5 years of men, and women account for a larger proportion of mid- and senior-level positions.
Researchers point out that women still face some obstacles and challenges in the industry. According to a report by Forex Suggest, only three of the CEOs of the 50 leading cryptocurrency companies in 2023 will be women. Despite this, cryptocurrency industry practitioners generally earn higher salaries than most other industries.
