According to Odaily Planet Daily, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and two other major U.S. bank regulators want more information about banks' relationships with fintech companies.

The FDIC, the Federal Reserve, and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency require detailed information related to deposit, payment, and loan products and services.

Officials want industry and public input on “the nature and impact of banks’ arrangements with fintech firms and effective risk management practices,” the regulators said in a joint statement.
