According to WuSay, the University of California, Berkeley’s School of Journalism will offer a “Future Technology” course in the fall of 2025, covering emerging technology trends such as blockchain and peer-to-peer networks.

The course was established with a $100,000 donation from Mask Network Academy, founded by Suji Yan, and aims to train a new generation of journalists to cover emerging technologies.

Suji Yan said that this era needs more citizen journalists who can use code tools and cryptographic weapons, rather than more algorithm engineers who make news recommendations.
