According to Odaily Planet Daily, Reddit plans to no longer support its Polygon-based Collectible Expressions feature from August 5, 2024, which provides animated expressions for users' Collectible Avatars NFTs.

Reddit said that while the animations will still be visible in past comments, they will no longer be available going forward.

Collectible Avatars is an NFT series based on the Polygon blockchain. As of now, more than 33 million Collectible Avatars have been minted, with a market value of US$43 million.
