According to PANews, US Senator Cory Booker has expressed concern over the prevalence of abuse in the market, despite the efforts of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). He noted that nearly half of the cases in the CFTC's enforcement files are related to cryptocurrency, describing the situation as 'unusual'.

CFTC Chairman Rostin Behnam responded to Booker's comments, expressing shock that an agency regulating a trillion-dollar market is forced to oversee a market over which it has no jurisdiction and receives no funding. He warned that this situation could pose risks to both markets.

Subsequently, Booker turned to Senators Sen Stabenow and John Boozman, stressing the urgency of the situation and calling for swift action. He warned that if no action is taken, more and more people will suffer losses and lose their money.
